Grant, O Lord, that I may pass this day in gladness and peace, without stumbling and without stain; that reaching the eventide victorious over all temptations, I may praise You, the eternal God, who are blessed, and governs all things, world without end. Amen.

Dear God,

Most of us always desire a perfect situation, a perfect life. Yet, You, my Lord, do not grant a perfect life. What You give instead is a perfect heart in the midst of an imperfect life. Teach me to be cheerful, hopeful, smiling amidst imperfections and to enjoy Your wondrous blessings every moment in time. Amen.

Oh God, touch my heart today
And cleanse me from all sin.
Put Your love and joy inside
And keep it safe within.
Till someone comes along
And needs my help to lift their loads today.
Then I may reach inside my heart
And give love and joy away.
