Life continues whatever happens. All we need is to be positive and be brave with all the challenges we encounter. Faith in God is still the best armor.

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all. – Psalm 34: 17-19

Whenever you don’t understand what’s happening in your life, you just have to close your eyes, take a deep breath and say, “Lord, I know it is Your plan. I put my life into Your hands.”

The art of being happy lies in the power of finding joy in ordinary things. Life does not force us to be the best. It only asks that we try.

Sadness is self-inflicted. Don’t bother too much about crappy occurrences around you. Then again, you tend to forget yourself involved. Happiness is self-induced just the same. It’s just a matter of perspective. Life is good, life is bad, you decide.

It is not work that kills men, it is worry. Work is healthy; you can hardly put more on a man than he can bear. But worry is rust upon the blade. It is not movement that destroys the machinery, but friction. - Henry Ward Beecher

An arrow can be shot only by pulling it back. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it is going to launch you into something big.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Deuteronomy 31:6

What joy it is to feel God’s love embracing us, as He whispers, “don’t give up, I’m with you always, not just on special days but every moment of your life.”

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

All trials are not the reason to give up but a challenge to improve ourselves. Our pain is not an excuse to back out but an inspiration to move on.

Sometimes, God breaks our spirit to save our soul. Sometimes, He breaks our heart to make us whole. Sometimes, He sends us pain so we can be stronger. Sometimes, He sends us failure so we can be humble. Sometimes, He sends us illness so we can take better care of ourselves. Sometimes, He takes everything away from us so we can learn the value of everything we have.

A heart that has a firm faith will not be frightened by obstacles, for it knows well that God’s love will not abandon those who trust in Him.

Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. – Joshua 1:9

Life can never be free of pain but God will always give you the means to endure and survive. In the rush of events, you will see that He’s holding your hand in every moment.

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. – Deuteronomy 31:8

God makes us brave when we’re afraid, makes us strong when we are weak, but most of all, he teaches us to hold on to Him when things keep falling.

“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted;
He rescues those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

The good news is that God wants us to pass the tests of life, so He never allows the tests we face be greater than the grace He gives us to handle them. The Bible says, “God keeps His promise, and He will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, He will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.”

Oh God, touch my heart today
And cleanse me from all sin.
Put Your love and joy inside
And keep it safe within.
Till someone comes along
And needs my help to lift their loads today.
Then I may reach inside my heart
And give love and joy away.
